Victory Gardens is the musical offering of Victoria Giardina, a witch who lives by a river in Texas. For her, the line between artist and healer is blurred. Her album Wanting To Be Alive emerged from her experience in the hospital working as a death doula, witnessing many people transition out of this life into the next. Her last record What is Stranger Than Love? was born from a more personal sense of loss. When not making music, she facilitates rituals and ceremonies for liberation. She believes that we are living in unprecedented times of uncertainty that call for the utmost creative and wild expressions.
