Chris Stath

Brooklyn-based Chris Stath has been immersed in music all his life. Today, these roots have allowed him to blossom in many areas of the industry, particularly as a house music DJ , connector, and producer.

His biggest tracks to date include the sax-drenched Sly5thAve remix of ‘Gold’, which has over 125,000 streams on Spotify, and his bass-heavy remix of Tangina Stone’s ‘Easy’ (10,000 streams and counting). He has released an EP, Whoopsidaisies, on the legendary NYC label King Street Sounds, and supported the likes of Waka Flocka Flame, The Game, Styles P, and many others.

But while Stath’s work as a DJ and producer is impressive, it represents just one aspect of his career. He also writes music for global drink brand Red Bull, helps under-represented artists to land sync deals, runs his own dance label (Club Casa), collabs with major dance-party brands, throws house parties, works as a touring drummer for various acts, and finds time to work as a union actor in New York City (his credits include the likes of Law and Order SVU, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, and Late Night with Mindy Kaling. Through all of these activities and more, he has built up an enviable network that includes rappers, label bosses, DJs, producers, directors, writers, academics, you name it.

Born in Boston, Stath owes much of his musical appetite to his father, a drummer, who spun everything from Led Zeppelin to Parliament when Stath was growing up. His own musical journey led him from punk and post-hardcore to hip-hop and, eventually, house music, which is where he is building a fast-growing reputation in the Big Apple and beyond.
