The Grand Concourse

Photographer: Michael Busse

The Grand Concourse is the solo project from NYC producer, musician and artist, Joe Rogers. Having worked for years as a producer for such artists as Laura Stevenson, Joanna Sternberg, Rubblebucket and more, Rogers debuts his most vulnerable and most natural work to date in The First Cold Night. Originating as an outlet for creation and respite while working on various records and touring for often times months on end, Rogers melts the isolation of the world into tender and often hope-laced melodies and textures. Named after the subway station where he grew up, The Grand Concourse is Rogers' reflection on the often overlooked, hidden beauty of the world.

With dozens of records to his discography as a producer/engineer, The Grand Concourse is truly Joe Rogers' home, both in spirit and as an artist. The First Cold Night EP is the debut release from The Grand Concourse, available everywhere on May 10th via Silence Breaks. Debut single, "The First Cold Night" is also featured on Hulu's new original mini-doc series, Captive Audience (out April 21st on Hulu).
