Matt Stamm is a Las Vegas based singer-songwriter, producer and composer. A multi-instrumentalist who spent many years on the NYC music scene as a writer and synth and keyboard player for The Hotcakes, Erin Mary and The West Island, and Christian Linsey.. Through his time working with producer Joe Rogers on several projects at Bushwick’s Room 17 he began to expand his collaborations to include hip-hop’s J57 and indie singer-songwriters Tiffany Topol and Victory Gardens.

From epic pop bangers to stripped down acoustic ballads, EDM remixes to hip-hop hook features, Stamm is a writer that has blurred genre lines; he uses his experience drawn from such a varied palette to create a solo body of work that is at the same time instantly relatable and recognizable while infusing his songs with a unique freshness.

His vocal tone, reminiscent of Elliott Smith and Paul Simon, projects catchy melodies a la Keane and Snow Patrol, with lush background vocals in the style of The Beach Boys. His arrangements incorporate a wide variety of instrumentation, using EDM elements similar to Elderbrook, 80s synths, modern blues elements drawing from The Black Keys, and classical strings reminiscent of Vivaldi. Stamm’s lyrics reflect loss, love, and the ever evolving emotions of trying to move forward in this wild world.

Matt’s previous credits have included NBC’s Winter Olympic Coverage, The Lying Game (CW), Summer Camp Swap (ABC Family), and COX Cable and Internet. Popular remixes include Locos Por Juana’s For The Ladies featuring Talib Kweli. Matt’s recent covers of Dream On (Aerosmith), I’ve Just Seen A Face (The Beatles), and The Way You Make Me Feel (Michael Jackson) have exposed his music to an even broader audience.
